We aim to mobilize a community of students and grassroots leaders to work together to improve the health of people around the world.
Our Mission
Health Equity and Applied Learning (HEAL) aims to foster an environment in which students can discuss the intersection of social justice and global public health. We strive to uplift voices and perspectives that have been historically marginalized and create a space for change, both locally and internationally. Students have the opportunity to directly support communities affected by health inequities by spreading awareness through education, leading public health projects, and creating sustainable partnerships with grassroots organizations.
