2023 Public ghU: HEALing the Brain
In fall semester of 2023 our HEAL team hosted our Public Health Unit Public Event: HEALing the Brain. The goal of this event was to create a supportive and informative platform that encourages well-being, community, and resource accessibility for students across campus. This event included: live music from a local student band, free food, tabling resources from other student orgs and four distinguished guest speakers. This event was widely successful with 130+ attendees.
Whats Next?
We collected data from a survey at our event evaluate student knowledge of provided resources on campus. We plan on using this data to be an active part of the change towards improved quality and accessibility of mental health resources on campus!
